Livestock: it’s what we know and what we’re known for. Since 1921, Douglas County Farmers Co-Op has been helping ranchers big and small keep their stock healthy and hardy. Many of our employees raise stock too; there’s a good chance if you’ve got a problem with your herd, we’ve been there! And for over 50 years, we’ve been proud to support area 4H & FFA youth by bidding on and purchasing livestock at Junior Market Auctions.

We know that your livestock is often more than a means to keep the grass down—they’re your livelihood. Get your show pig sleek, your lamb shaggy, and your steer shiny for the fair! DC Farmers Co-op also offers a full line of show supplies from Weaver Livestock, Sullivan’s Supply, Andis, Oster, and Premier. You’ll find the grooming tools, hair and coat products, halters and leads, blankets and tubes, and more to ensure a spot in the winner’s circle. If we don’t stock the product, our staff would be happy to order it for you! And it’s not just the outside that creates a winner, what’s inside counts too. Be sure your show stock is getting the nutrition it needs to truly shine in the show ring. We’ve got you covered with a full line of Purina Honor Show Chow products.
Keeping chickens and other poultry has become a popular hobby and we have what you need to keep your flock busy, happy, and productive! Coops, feeders, waterers, feed and supplements, toys, brooder lamps, and beyond (even birds!), you’ll find it at the Co-Op.
